Oh! How we miss Riyadh's sunshine, friends gathering, and the most intriguing new musicians you could ever imagine. Who's to say that the guitar is no longer relevant?
When it comes to promoting and showcasing new and innovative forms of Arab music culture, Wasla has emerged as one of the region's dominant music festivals. After three successful years in Dubai, Wasla is finally coming to Riyadh from Friday, March 4 to Saturday, March 5, 2022!
It's hard to find a better festival vibe than at Wasla, where you'll discover new and old artists performing. The good news is … The Music Space will be there too!
The alternative music genre sprang out of the 1970s individual independent music revolution. The genre gained prominence in the 1980s and has since grown to be one of the most successful subgenres of music embracing the DIY spirit.
Numerous bands and musicians with a diverse range of musical styles have developed from alternative cultures. Although alternate music is frequently linked with non-mainstream music, the genre has produced some of the most important bands in history.
Despite its beginnings in alternative music, TMS has evolved into a cultural hub for modern indie, alternative, and local Saudi musicians.
